For these two shelves, our work consisted in using ironed sheet metal. The sides are formed by two simple folds. The trays of the shelves are fastened on the structure so as to make it rigid. The wooden trays are combined with lacquered metal to create a contrast of materials and colours. The sides of the shelves are deliberately slanted, in order to easily arrange the piece of furniture in a space and to create a see-through effect with the objects on the shelves, thanks to the perforated metal sheet.
